No. Our belts are made for us by AmSafe® in Phoenix, AZ.

Alpha Aviation is not a certified repair station and does not perform any rewebbing or repair. Restraints received at Alpha Aviation for rewebbing will be returned to the sender at their cost.

AmSafe® Restraints – Within Warranty

• AmSafe restraints come with a 3-year warranty from date of manufacture (as shown on the TSO tag, not the purchase date). The warranty is applicable only to manufacturing defects and does not include user error, abuse/misuse or any type of naturally occurring situation.
• Only AmSafe® can repair or reweb restraints under warranty. Using any other provider will void your warranty.
• We recommend contacting us first – it’s best if we coordinate the return to AmSafe® on your behalf.

• AmSafe offers repair and overhaul services for restraints beyond the warranty period.

Some restraints are labeled “repairable by AmSafe only” regardless of the date of manufacture. In these cases, please contact us before sending them in. We can assist and manage the process with AmSafe®.

Yes. You are replacing a TSO item with a TSO item. All of our restraints are manufactured by AmSafe®, meet current TSO (technical standard order) and include an 8130-3 airworthiness certificate and certificate of conformance.

No. You are upgrading existing equipment and will be reusing the same attachment point and hardware.

If your current shoulder harness and lap belt were manufactured by AmSafe, and are TSO-C114 restraint assemblies, we most likely can order a replacement shoulder harness. If you have a TSO-c22f (or earlier) lap belt, no.

There could be a couple reasons for this: 

You already have factory installed shoulder harnesses.  See Replacements.

We don't have an STC for your aircraft model.

All of our belts come standard with an 8130-3 Airworthiness Tag and a Certificate of Conformance. EASA: an FAA 8130-3 is accepted in place of EASA Form 1.

They should. We have allowed a few extra inches in our measurements to accommodate larger individuals (us included!). We can provide you with our lengths for confirmation, and if longer assemblies are needed, we can order something.

We have an extension available that is compatible with the newer, TSO-C114 restraints. If you have an older 3-point restraint, please contact us with the part number located on the lap belt TSO Tag and we will see if an extender is available.

If the belts have not been installed, and are not a special-order color, they can be exchanged.  A 15% restocking fee will apply. Please call us or email us for additional information. All belts must be returned with the 8130-3 Airworthiness Certificate and Certificate of Conformance that were provided with the original purchase. AmSafe® does offer expedited builds for a fee that is based on your order total. Please contact us. Expedited or AOG builds can only be guaranteed after consulting with AmSafe® and confirming they have the parts available & the capacity to complete in the desired time-frame.
